How to create your song usage report for CCLI SongSelect

Please let us know if the following steps enable you to complete your CCLI reporting task:

1. Open all agendas from the last 6 months (or from whatever period that you need to report songs):

Note that you can open several agendas at once:

2. If you need to add more agendas, use the "Add agendas..." menu:

3. Copy a description of the agenda into the Clipboard:

4. Paste (Ctrl+V) the Clipboard content into an email, or Excel, etc.:
You get a list similar to the following one:

CCLI 22025 Amazing Grace
CCLI 25280 And Can It Be (Sagina)
CCLI 99481 Breathe On Me Breath Of God (Trentham)
CCLI 25376 It Is Well With My Soul
CCLI 11218 My Tribute
CCLI 23426 To God Be The Glory

How to import songs from OpenLP

The VideoPsalm online library contains several thousands of christian songs, ready for being imported into your own VideoPsalm.
But you may possess songs in another format, for example in the OpenLP format.
Lets then import these songs into your VideoPsalm!

The easiest way to import songs from OpenLP is through the import assistant, which you open from the toolbar:

In the assistant dialog that opens, click Next -> Import songs -> OpenLP songs:

In the next step, type-in the location of the OpenLP database folder.
Usually, VideoPsalm will set this field to your OpenLP database location, but you may need to adjust it to your real OpenLP database location.
To find out where OpenLP stores its songs, open its settings dialog and look for the "Data Location" field:

Adjust or copy/paste this location in the VideoPsalm assistant, and, if necessary, add "\songs\songs.sqlite" at the end.
You can also click the "Select" button to navigate to the folder where OpenLP stores its songs:

Then click Next several times until the import completes.
You will immediately see your new songs into a new songbook:

  • ChordPro format
  • EasySlides songs
  • EasyWorship 2009 songs
  • MediaShout songs
  • OpenLP songs
  • Songs in "OpenLyrics" format
  • OpenSong songs
  • Psalmo songbooks
  • Text format
  • VerseView songs
  • WebAsaph songs


Other ways to get songs into your VideoPsalm:
  • use ready songs from the VideoPsalm online library (tens of thousands of songs)
  • Type new songs by hand in the text editor
